Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu are very slow moving grahas. These grahas have large energy imprints and have long transit periods. Due to their longer transits their energetic effects are more sustained and long lasting. Jupiter takes upto one year to transit over a rashi and a total of 12 years to cover all the rashis. Saturn takes a whopping 2.5 years to transit over a rashi and a total of 30 years to cover all the zodiacs. Rahu and ketu take 1.5 years in retrograde motion to transit over a rashi and a total of 18 years to complete an orbital cycle.
